Verbum Domini, Vatican City - 3/1/2012 - 4/15/2012
This 5,000 square foot interfaith exhibit at the Braccio di Carlo Magno museum in St. Peter’s Square brought together more than 150 rare biblical texts and artifacts of Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and Jewish traditions. Situated in the heart of Rome for Lent and Easter 2012, Verbum Domini was inspired by Pope Benedict XVI’s vision of renewed religious passion for the “Word of the Lord.”

Items from the Green Collection were on display for a KJV conference, in conjunction with the Green Scholar’s Initiative and Dr. Jerry Pattingale. This conference brought together some of the leading scholars on the subject including Dr. David Lyle Jeffrey and Dr. Alister McGrath.

Three conferences with an exhibition of items were held in Lagos at the Apostolic Church conference center, Enugu at the Anglican Cathedral Church and Port Harcourt at the Greater Evangelism World Crusade headquarters. The conferences mark one of the most important ecumenical gatherings in recent Nigerian history.

Over three hundred pieces in the collection were transported and put on display at Baylor University. Dr. Pattengale was accompanied by Dr. Ken Starr and the Green Family for this event. Guests were able to engage in discussions with the panel and view the artifacts.

Vatican Embassy, Washington D.C. - 3/31/2011
Over 200 dignitaries from across the nation gathered at the Vatican Embassy (The Embassy of the Holy See under the patronage of the Apostolic Nunciature) for the premier viewing of the Green Collection, and for special announcements about the plans for the first major exhibit at the Oklahoma Museum of Art. Welcoming the crowd were the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church in the U.S., the American Bible Society, the office of an Oklahoma senator, the leader of the Green Collection, and Mr. Steve Green. In attendance were the director and staff of the Green Scholars Initiative, various politicians, civic leaders, media executives and business and religious leaders. The DeMoss PR firm handled the event, which launched what is now well over 100 million viewers of news related to the Green Scholars Initiative and the Green Collection.
