Due to the media attention from some of the main events surrounding the Green Collection, we appreciate your patience in responding to your inquiries for involvement, or for booking one of the directors for speaking engagements. Our PR firm, the DeMoss Group (Atlanta), informs us that over 400 million people have viewed some aspect of the media coverage related to the Green Collection and related initiatives. The official public exhibit and announcement took place at the Vatican Embassy in Washington D.C., March 31st, 2011, and the second official exhibit at Baylor University, April 7-9, 2011 for the “400th Anniversary: The King James Bible and the World it Made.” Since then, we have given smaller exhibits at Wheaton College (IL), Union University (Jackson, TN), the Religion Newswriters Association annual conference (Durham, NC), and Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA). Approximately 7,000 people toured this last exhibit. The first full travelling exhibition, “Passages,” held it inaugural showing at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, April 16-October 16, 2011. Over 63,000 people attended. The Passages Speakers Series (see www.explorepassages.com ) featured eleven prominent scholars, and the series sold out four months in advance (and the DVDs sold out). The Passages exhibit, featuring around 300 items, runs next in Atlanta (mid-November, 2011 through May, 2012).
